As the geography of the city goes, Jaipur lies in the eastern part of the state. Sikar and Alwar border its northern parts, Tonk, Ajmer and Sawai Madhopur are its southern borders. In the west the city has Ajmer, Nagaur and Sikar while Bharatpur and Dausa are in the east.
